work for me which was long and very busy
the last bits of our garden fence arrived (black bit by the wooden fence)
jane had a nice afternoon with her friend debbie
esther spent the day at the library
kezia spent the afternoon with her friend susie in auckland
i was back at work today and enjoyed having a look at a chinese spy ship on my morning walk. quite funny it just parks up in auckland occasionally

esther went in to town with a friend who is having a sleep over tonight. kezia spent the day skyping her friends i think
and poor old jane went in to school for a day of preparation (i think – not spoken to her yet)
i had the day off work today so we had a family trip up to mangawhai heads. despite the forecast of rain we did the coastal walk which took 2 and a half hours. there was a big walk up to the top of the cliff then a walk along the cliff then down to a very rocky beach. the rocks gradually became smaller until they were grains of sand and we were back at the car
our weekly skype with jane’s parents was supplemented by the presence of Jane’s sister Binky and Thomas who were staying over so that Thomas could participate in a rubik’s cube competition. The competition sounded brilliant!
church this morning then kezia went to play glow in the dark golf with her friends
jane and esther took pearl for a walk
i went round the garden with pearl and picked up (and recycled) all my slug pots which were circulated round the garden by the wind and rain.
the sun popped out for a short while this afternoon so we got to sit out on the deck and eat some crisps

this evening i went out and photoed Ellie Goulding at Vector Arena. here are some of my outakes shots (i ended up using a couple of these)
apologies for the delay in posting this. been a busy few days
jane and i went out for the day on Friday. in a last minute change of plans we decided to go to tawharanui
we stopped at a pottery on the way where they were selling bird plates with genuine bird poos on
we grabbed an early lunch
then went for a long hike up and down the coast
we even saw a rare stitch bird
then eventually we got to the beach
before walking back to the car. we spotted an invisible pop up bird hide too.
meanwhile esther went in to town with a friend and kezia came back from her sleep over and spent the day at home
in the evening i photoed a heavy rock band at the Tuning Fork, which is the venue attached to the Vector Arena
excellent day. will update tomorrow
work, lunch with buzz and a crazy afternoon of last minute work
jane had another day of domestic excellentness
esther went to the library for studying
and kezia went to a friend’s house which ended up being miles away!

not sure what jane did
the sun came out today so jane and kezia spent a chunk of the day living the dream on the new deck
they also went to the mall and bought various clothes for the kezia
i had work which had moments of busyness
although i did force myself to go for a walk at lunchtime
esther went in to town with some chums and walked up to parnell to eat ice creams and go to the museum
