school and work for all

kezia had youth.  i had cameras (both my images were so bad they didn’t even get ‘acceptance’)

it’s been raining all day again today but here’s a picture from the weekend when it was sunny and we sat outside

i worked from home today so i could let the boiler man in.  he eventually arrived at 4.30pm (when i would have been back from work anyway) and at 6pm found out that the pump in the new boiler was faulty so we couldn’t switch it on.  so he’ll be back another day.

everyone else had school

lots of school work and report writing and tax calculating today

i did escape late afternoon for an hour and half at the zoo

and one of pentatonix posted a picture i took of him on his twitter stream and got lots of likes.  you can see the latest total here

kezia and jane went out for breakfast

i went back to Armageddon

esther came home from the party

everyone did homeworks etc

everyone did exam revision/report writing except for me as i went out to the Armageddon expo

this is Christopher Lloyds who was in Back to the Future and Taxi and various other things

i came home in time to take esther and a friend to a sleep over at a friend’s house who lives almost an hour’s drive away

on the way back i met up with buzz and we have a look at the gannets and then ate some chips!

long weekend so that’s nice

i got a different bus this morning and ended up 5km from work which made for a nice walk to work (until it rained)

i worked from home as the boiler man came (with their drilling).  as did the cleaning lady with her vacuum cleaner and the quieter outdoor surface man.  the sounds made my two conference calls interesting.

all the ladies had school.  esther and kezia got excellences in their music exam / speech performing

tonight kezia and jane have gone to school to hear about next year’s music tour so we can start saving again!

here’s the new boiler in a cupboard.  we have to wait until next tuesday before it’s ready to use

jane has book club this evening and kezia has youth

i sold a picture via the internet and had an email from someone who wants to buy some prints of photos of a concert i took a few months back!

this evening i cleaned out the garage cupboard as we get our new boiler tomorrow

just to add to the excitement the waterblasters were hear today and are back tomorrow to start patching up the concrete floor – hopefully the electricity and water won’t be off too long with the boiler people

that’s all i have to say

my car had its service and WOF today so i had to drop it in albany village at 7.30am.  this coincided with a local power cut so i watched a police lady direct traffic while i waited for a bus which took over an hour to get to me to work

after work i got the bus back to the albany park and ride and walked back to albany village the way i occasionally used to when we lived in our previous house so that was a nice trip down memory lane.  and it was nice and sunny/warm too

girls all had school.  esther had a singing performance after school which counts towards her music exams

then she went on to a bowling party with her big band

church this morning followed by podcast doing and photo editing

then this afternoon i went to see the Louis Theroux documentary with Buzz and his giant box of popcorn

everyone else did school stuff
