stupidly busy day at work for me which meant i missed out on two leaving do’s, a trip to the cinema to see the new Star Wars movie and a visiting choir singing christmas choirs in the atrium.  Busy days again early next week then hopefully things will calm down a bit for the final week before our big christmas shut down.

i think mum mostly stayed at home

kezia went to a friend’s house for a christmas party which involved me driving around the place after work picking people up and dropping them up

esther went out with a friend shopping

jane picked up pearl

got up, tidied up, drank up at the huka prawn cafe, drove up the country and stopped for lunch at hamilton gardens.  Back home then jane and mum are out for debbie’s birthday party

and i went shopping this evening for oranges for my mum and a new shower hose (which kezia then fitted)

church with jane and esther in the choir, kezia on door duty and me on photoing

then jane took pearl to belinda’s for a little holiday.  esther went shopping a chum and kezia, mum and i went for a walk down by the silos and found a little pine forest inside one of the silos

mum arrived this morning.  the rest of the day was spent hanging around the house

kezia went for a walk with her church youth group

kezia and jane finished school today and i had a stupidly busy and long day which was interesting but tiring

this evening we all went out for a meal as from tomorrow we’ll have visitors in the house for the next month.

stupid busy day at work for me followed by work drinks (i had water)

jane and esther were out in the evening at a choir practice for church on sunday

manically busy work, school (jane and kezia), photo editing (kezia), photo selling (me), camera club, youth group

i had work and met up with buzz at lunchtime for a brief catchup between our various meetings

kezia had school then went to a friend’s house via a party that some music friends were having on the beach

i’m not entirely sure what esther has been up to, but she did make it home after her ball last night (thanks to jane picking her up at 1am) and this evening she’s gone in to town to watch the Two Cello play at the Civic Theatre.  i might finally catch up with her when i pick her up at 10.30 tonigh

jane had school and then went straight out to an evening meal with her year group so i won’t see her until late too

as everyone was out i walked pearl and kezia did all the washing up

there was some lovely mist and fancy clouds today

and of course pohutakawas in the evening light

feels like summer is here

kezia had school

jane had school

i had work

esther has a formal ball this evening complete with a pre-party and an after-party where she needs to be picked up at 1am (thanks to the lovely jane)
