i went to a photo conference today and the girls had school. after school, the girls went on their school camp.
despite it being a photo conference i didn’t take any photos worthy of sharing.
i’m running two street photography field trips tomorrow, so i’ll hopefully get a few photos from that!

i’m running two street photography workshops on saturday so i thought i’d practice on the way to and from work this week
work/school, massive rains, school parents evening (me with kez, jane with esther) then me zooming back in to town to meet with Getty and some other photographers to learn about photo opportunities.

jane was up early for a walk with pearl before she went to school for a teacher only day
i was meant to be giving a blood sample but when i got there (rather hungry because it was a fasting one) there was a massive queue so i went to the wholesalers instead and bought some clingfilm.
i got home in time to take esther to one bus stop as she was going to a birthday party in town and kezia to another bus stop as she was going to the maul to buy socks. esther an i also failed to buy a plug for their bath
then i was off to Murray’s bay to watch the birdman festival (photos still to edit)
after that i whizzed home to meet jane who was at home now. i put my camera batteries on charge then jane and i took pearl to muriwai for a walk.
the beach was great – a perfect day for walk
on the way back we picked up esther from her party and got home in time for me to grab my cameras and head out to photo some ‘doom metal’ which turned out to be quite unpleasant listening. The neighbours of the venue thought so too and reported the venue to noise control and the police turned up and shut the night down!
in the evening kezia went out to a church youth thing and jane and esther watched goggle box
i went to the doctor this morning for a regular checkup as i’d used up all my hay fever tablets and he was impressed by my weight loss which hit 7kg today! i drove in to work and picked up a new laptop for kezia on the way.

i walked pearl early this morning and the weather was nice
crazy busy days at school and work for all. jane had parents evening so didn’t get back until. esther had a school exam (physics practical) until 6.30pm so i stayed at work until 6pm (having started at 7am).
i drove in to work again this morning and met up with buzz at lunchtime
i had to give a neighbour a lift to work this morning so i drove in to auckland (dropping esther off at the park and ride bus station) and parked under my office which was fun. especially as it was chucking it down with rain this morning.
jane had a good day as many of her classes were on a school trip so not around
girls had school. esther had something musical afterwards so i met her at school and we went to the supermarket on the way back. we looked for a giant pie shop which kezia had told us about on the way back but we didn’t find it. turns out kezia made it up as a joke !
