i had the day off work today so andrew, katie, jane and i went to piha to see what the rain had done to the waterfall. Answer: made it big!
after a lunch in the piha cafe we went for a quick walk on the beach
this afternoon katie and esther went in to town to watch some percussion orchestra or something like that
work for three hours then many hours of photoing a parade in the wet (but i was in the dry)
jane, andrew and katie went to look at the parade and got a bit soaked
andrew and i went to the krd first thursdays in the evening (photos below)
esther had school
photos coming sometime when i can think. meanwhile you can see some of my images here. bit weird as not all of them ended up uploading and i also sent another 40 to auckland tourism via another route so you can’t see those. i may re-post here at some point though
busy day at work for me with lots of meetings. but i did stay awake so that’s good
esther went out for a meal with her friend this evening and is going out with jane to pick up our visitors from the airport later
we’ve not heard from kezia for a while

sorry if you couldn’t get in to the blog yesterday. dodgy plugin which i’ve located and deactivated.
i took the day off work yesterday (Tuesday) so jane and i could have a day together before visitor descend (literally) on wednesday evening
anyway, we dropped esther off first thing at school then drove on to takapuna where we parked up and walked/scrambled round the coast to devonport
the weather was amazing
when we eventually got to devonport we got a bus back to takapuna to collect the car.

after that we zoomed home to get changed then were straight back out for lunch then a trip to the boutique cinema to see a film which wasn’t as good as we hoped
after the cinema i drove in to town to go to a getty images contributor meet up which was really useful and jane picked up esther from school
then i zoomed up to the Kings Arms Tavern to photo The Wedding Present for UnderTheRadar. I finished editing at 1am and was up at 5am this morning for work!
i was the first person in the office today arriving just after 7am and i was the last to leave (ignoring the cleaners) at 6.45pm. busy but productive day
kezia has been having a whale of a time today in Brisbane as you can see from her pictures
jane has done meeeelions of house works and met up with a friend
esther had school and then a band practice
church then a 60th birthday party where we got lost on the way but eventually found it (despite it being less than a mile from our house it was on the other side of the creek so a 20 minute drive)
we’ve heard nothing from kezia today but i think she’s doing a concert
i went in to town to help with a photo course then met jane and esther for lunch. jane and i then went to the art gallery. this evening jane and i went to a concert in a new zealand equivalent of a stately home.
kezia is having fun in brisbane. esther did some shopping during the day while jane met debbie for a coffee
work, school (esther, jane), chinese evening (esther), end of term (jane), brisbane fun (kezia – we assume!)
kezia went to brisbane, i worked from home, everyone else had school
