i was back at roundhead studios for the final day of the Going Global Music summit and got to take a load more photos and edit them between sessions.  The organisers were really pleased with how they how they came out which was nice 

esther spent the day in town with her friend as Auckland university had its open day.  she also looked round her preferred halls of residence. this evening she gave us a powerpoint presentation on why she should live in halls rather than home!

jane did lots of domestics and kezia went to stay at a friend’s house.  fay had a day at home

i had the day off work today to do a paid photo job, taking pictures of people at the Going Global Music Summit which is a cool thing which happens each year in Auckland.  This year it was held at Neil Finn’s Roundhead studio which is a totally legendary place so it was nice i could wander about taking photos of things!  Neil Finn is New Zealand pop royalty – he’s a famous musician in his own right, but also for being in Crowded House with his brother Tim.  Jane taught Tim Finn’s son at school here

this mixing desk was originally built for The Who!

i’m photoing at day 2 tomorrow.  it was quite nice as i had my own little desk to edit my shots as i went along through the day and everything!

sorry, bit a bit hectic of late.  Thursday was school, university and work. 

i had just a crazy busy day with work busyness which is going to be like this for a few months i think

Fay went to a Revue done by the engineers then stayed in town for the night

this evening jane and i went to tracey’s house to say goodbye to Debbie who is going to live in South Korea for three months!!!

we all went to muriwai in the afternoon

meanwhile the girls spent the day at their music competition

in the evening jane, fay and i went to watch the gala competition.  both the girls’ choirs won gold and esther’s choir got the platinum (best choir award).  apparently they are dropping the platinum award from next year as once again Westlake have won the top prize too many times!
