this afternoon jane helped our friend Debbie move lots of stuff out of her house to some other friend’s garage as she is moving house and her new house isn’t available yet. i think she’s coming to stay with us for a bit too. I’ll keep you posted.

kezia had a chamber orchestra practice before school then had to run along across takapuna to meet her choir for a choir day camp
i had work. i had to pop out at lunch to get my pass for the festival i’m photoing tomorrow and got sunburnt waiting for them to arrive
then this afternoon i gave evidence at a select committee which was not as bad as i expected.
this evening we had takeaways and i got my stuff ready for tomorrow.
our post today was just two letters from NZ Transport – one addressed to esther and the other to kezia. it was their provisional driving licence (esther) and learner licence (kezia). funny they arrived on the same day.
school, work
kezia and i both saw esther in passing this morning – esther got on my bus back as i got off as she went to kezia’s school to do her weekly music hour.

school, work, new camera (been saving up for years) and camera club this evening (photos did rubbishly)
volvo boats have arrived and i met a work chum for lunch. i’ll sort out pictures tomorrow
busy days at school and work. not much to report
esther passed her driving test despite my best efforts to fail to get her there in time (i forgot the car keys and had to run for ten minutes to get them back, and then the car broke down – thankfully temporary).
anyway, she passed which is the main thing. and it was nice for me to spend some time with esther.
she had her first lecture this morning and her first lesson with her new trombone teacher who is nice so that’s good!
otherwise long days for everyone and we’re all tired.

jane and i went out in the evening to watch Primal Scream. their bass player was sick so they had a mannequin. a future job for Mandy Kim perhaps?
i enjoyed that the keyboard players used a magnifying glass when changing his settings
i met esther for some driving practice during the day so it was nice to see her and catch up with all her news after a week away.
jane went to the gym and shopping and did chores
kezia went to the mall
in the evening jane and i went out to some church friends for dinner which was nice. they have a nice view of Rangitoto from the front of their house

jane had the day off work as a result of school camps starting on Sunday so she went to a sculpture park with another teacher and had a great time
this evening jane, kez and i went to see Finding Your Feet at the cinema
