work/school for all
esther had one of her band practices this evening which has now moved to a wednesday evening at school 5.30-7pm
and jane has gone out to book club
the day started for jane early with a run
then she and esther went to church to teach their youth group
kezia and i spent the morning helping bury 1000 plants in the nature reserve which we didn’t even know existed behind our house
kezia was quite amazing!
this afternoon (after some snoozing and homeworking) we went for a walk round north head
kezia skipped swimming this morning due to her cold (which seems better now)
jane had contact lens trouble this morning so had to go to the opticians, but all is sorted now
esther met up with her old school chums and did some glow in the dark mini golf
esther and kezia went to some hot pools with their church youth group this afternoon and evening
i spent much of the day asleep as i’ve had kezia’s lurgy
jane and i watched a french film this evening
and this morning kezia and i took the car to the car wash so it was clean so the panel beater could give us a quote. unfortunately the panel beater was closed after we’d had it cleaned. oh well
here’s a video of a bit of the cleaning
lots of meetings for me and lunch at the same place i went to on monday just to make sure i wasn’t banned after the drink misunderstanding (ask me another time). turns out i wasn’t banned so all was good
jane had a busy day at school which is going well at the moment i think
esther went to taekwondo at school early this morning which she thoroughly enjoyed (you could say she got a kick out of it)
and kezia has a stinking cold so we watched some telly this evening and she went to bed early and skipped swimming.
i made a really cool excel sheet thing at work, so that was fun.
here’s kezia at swimming yesterday. she’s had swimming tonight too.
jane and kezia went to Westlake School to register Kezia for next year. it’s a bit of a lottery as she’s out of zone, but she should be near the top of the short list as esther’s already there.
there was some congratulatory cake at work. not sure why
jane has been doing some great work at school but is super busy
esther had violin
school, work, swimming
we had a lunchtime gathering for some of our old work chums
and here’s what one of the teachers had to say about the music competition:
