Xmas eve at pooch and party’s house.  Jane went for a run first thing and I met up with big eye Tony.

I got esther a gingerbread coffee which is a special edition Christmas thing

There was some cake decorating

And other preparations.  Jane popped out to do some bell ringing with her mum in the afternoon for a kids service at church.

Then this afternoon the cousins arrived

There was some santa letter writing and dispatching up the chimney

And this evening there’s been some racing demons.

This evening we’re off to the midnight service.

This morning started with breakfast with mum in huntingdon

Then we drove over to Leicester for a day with my dad and marjorie

Along the way we saw two of my previous residencies including one place I hadn’t seen for thirty years I recon!

The day finished with a drive back to jane’s parents where we’ll be based over Christmas

Jane went for a run with her friend Kim first thing this morning

Then we were off to church where we caught up with loads of old friends and even some old friends who used to go to our old-old church where jane and i met eighteen years ago

After church we went over to Matt and Joy’s house for lunch with our other friend Sally.

After that we drove up to huntingdon where we met up with my mum and had dinner at a hotel

Three meetings,  south bank wandering, Camden Market, long walk to train station from Camden via gower Street,  Marylebone high Street,  baker Street.

Now reunited with the rest of the family in gerrards gross with our friends julie

Four meetings and three exhibitions.

We are in Bath having a great time with the  cousins. After going with them on the school run we went shopping  in Bath and had lunch in Sally Lunn’s.

Six meetings all in a row today.  All good

My first meeting was in a cafe which used to be a public toilet

I saw some reindeers and a smoking elf

And did quite a few tube journeys
