day 10 shopping in haverfordwest and narberth
day 10 was a town visiting day. we were in search of the gorky's barafundle album which we eventually found in a second hand record trail. we went to two of the most fantastic second hard record shops ever in fact, and i highly recommend them both if you find yourself in that part of town. one of the gorky's himself pops in occasionally, so that would have been very bizarre.

the weather was finally nice last weekend as can be seen by this sunbathing beauties at an outside brick-a-brack stall. batman is firmly keeping his clothes on.
the chap prefers to sunbathe alone. with his cowboy boots on.

this shop in bracknell, england is quite fantastic. all the mannequin's were bold. except this one, which had covered up with a hat and sun glasses. she was a lot shorter than the other mannequins too ...
military museum
an age ago i took the girls to a military museum where they had some great military mannequins
they also had some strange military death signage
and a little tableau at child height to show what mass destruction looked like. nice.

the owner of this shop came out and asked me what i was doing. at least i think he did. he was very french and i'm very english. we had a talk for a good 5 minutes though and he gave me a brief history of his shop which was in his family 5 generations if i understood him correctly. (there's a big chance i didn't)
