missing top of the eye
the london eye is shut at the moment. i assumed for refurbishment, but perhaps because the top has come off ?

usual story - took a few pictures then couldn't decide which one i like best ! i like the curve on the second one, but somehow the first one seems more 'comfortable'. dunno. what do you think ?

as an experiment they're balancing the london eye on top of big ben.
i took this photo out of a taxi window by farringdon station on the way back from a meeting. my colleague paul spotted it.
if you want to take your own version of this photo neither a taxi nor paul are required.
eery sky
despite all the obvious enviromental damage of bits of england blowing up, there's been some great skys. i'm not sure if this sky-scape was related or not, but was still very dramatic.
the esther and jane day
when kezia and i were in henley, jane and esther were in london visiting the aquarium and the natural history museum
they also managed a ride on the london eye - here's a moody photo taken by jane in the fog
