i can't resist a good fish eye
now you see me now you don't.
where's the photographer ?
after spending hours last night trying to avoid reflections of my fluorescent red t-shirt at the photography night school, i managed to exclude myself by accident from this mirrored ball ! Or perhaps i really was invisible ?

i can't walk by one of those fish-eye mirrors without taking a photo. actually, i can't walk past most things without taking a photo.
the wonderful world of physics
There's a mini-science museum called Discovery in the Brewers Quay in Weymouth and it's great. it's three smallish rooms choca with physics stuff you can play with ! esther and i went and it we had the place to ourselves.
esther loved the mirrors best - there was a room where you could go in and shut the door and see yourself off to infinity in all directions.
and i always love a fish eye mirror

family portrait
this is a good time of year for family photography. here is a photo i took without flash (and long exposure) in a fisheye mirror near these christmas lights. i think the effect is quite good
