solar eclipse
we had a partial solar eclipse a few days back. here's a reflection of it in the window (hence it's wrong-way round ness.
but better still were these weird eclipse patterns under a tree which were darting around as the tree leaves jiggled.
i was a bit sceptical they were anything to do with the eclipse until a friend of mine said he witnessed a similar occurrence at a solar eclipse a few years back

movember - the first few days

look what the wind blew in
we had some big winds a few weeks back. this chap blew in to our garden. my wife collected him
2 free kettles chips
there so much to love about this sign which was perched outside a shop:
- the picture frame
- the cut and pasted special offer ans sale
- the spelling of recive
- the colours
- the use of the word 'smokes'
and of course the offer itself of 2 free kettle chips (crisps). I like to think there was an open bag on the counter and you could pick whichever two crisps you fancies.
